Welcome to the website for
St. Frances Cabrini
Catholic Church!

We hope you take a look
the site and
find a home in the ministries
of our community.

Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant ℼ.
Pi Day is observed on March 14 since 3, 1, and 4 are the first
three significant digits of ℼ. In 2009, the United States House
of Representatives supported the designation of Pi Day

In honor of Pi Day, the St. Frances Cabrini Altar Society
is sponsoring a pie sale after the Masses on March 10th
and 11th. We are calling on all bakers (men or ladies) to
bring their finest pies to sell. You may drop your pie off
in the Parish Center within a half hour before the 5:30 p.m.
Mass on Saturday, or within a half hour of the 8:30 or 11:00 a.m.
Mass on Sunday. Pies go on sale immediately after each Mass.
We invite you to come shop for a real treat!

Ladies Altar Society

Begins Feb. 24th thru Mar. 24th

Lent, the Christian season of preparation prior to Easter,
is a time when many of us observe a period of fasting,
repentance, moderation, self-denial, and spiritual discipline.
Help the Ladies Altar Society continue their mission to
deliver hygiene products to the families served by the Giving Cabinet.

Due to the outstanding response in recent years, the toiletry
drive MUST evolve. The volume of goods donated has
exceeded the limits of our available storage space. This year we
are seeking monetary donations. The ladies of the Altar Society
will then shop periodically to maintain a moderate supply of hygiene,
mouthcare, and paper products. These items are dispersed
through the Giving Cabinet to families in the community who
exhibit a need for assistance. These items are greatly appreciated!

Please consider donating to this worthy cause and allow us to help those in need.

There will be members of the Ladies Altar Society on hand
after each of the Masses on Feb. 24 & 25 to collect
donations. If you wish, you may give at a later time
by placing an envelope in the regular collection with a
notation to the “Lenten Toiletry Drive”. Checks will be
accepted and can be made out to Saint Frances Cabrini Church,
with “Lenten Toiletry Drive” in the memo line.

Stations through the Square

Here it is Lent again and we are getting ready to start planning our
participation in “Stations through the Square” which is held on Good Friday,
March 30th this year. We have been a part of this evangelistic & ecumenical
ministry for several years. If you would like to again be a part of
this event or join us for the first time, please sign up in the Narthex
on the book shelf, or contact Jan Trahan at 615-444-0524 or

Easter Lily Memorials

Donations can be made and envelopes will be available starting
the weekend of March 3rd & 4th through March 17th & 18th in
the Narthex area on the bookshelf. This is for anyone who wishes
to remember their loved ones this Easter Season. Just be sure
to write all your names on the envelope provided and please have
all envelopes turned in by Sunday, March 18th, to have your loved
ones names recognized on the bulletin insert on Easter.

Emergency Shelters in Wilson County

Compassionate Hands

Today, 10 to 15% of all the kids attending public schools do not have a proper winter coat to protect them from the Tennessee weather that is coming in the next couple of months. Let alone a jacket to keep the rain and snow off of them. For the next couple of weeks the Knights will be standing out in front of the church, after all masses, collecting funds to purchase coats for kids. These coats will be donated to all of the elementary schools in our area. So please be generous in helping us accomplish this goal of purchasing at least 300 coats.

Hospital and Homebound Ministry

This ministry is an important role in our parish and we want to nourish it with a more coordinated approach to our hospitalized and homebound parishioners so that our Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion will know that we as a church are behind
them in offering our prayers and support.

If you know of a parishioner who would benefit from this ministry, please call the church office at 444-0524 or
email Nikki at with their name and we will gladly contact them so that they can begin
