Prayer Shawl Ministry

"We're praying with the talent that God gave us. We're praying with our hands, sitting in a chair, moving a needle, and then giving the gift to someone who needs it."
-Carolyn Hepburn, founder of the Prayer Shawl Ministry

Born in 2022 from a simple hope to unite our English and Spanish speaking parish families, the Prayer Shawl Ministry has become a quiet powerhouse of compassion.

Meeting weekly in Cabrini Hall, knitters and crocheters of every skill level pray with every stitch. Together they have created more than 100 blessed shawls, quilts, baptismal bibs, and tatted crosses that have traveled from local hospices and pregnancy centers, cathedrals in Colorado, and even the Vatican!

Each handmade gift carries the tangible assurance that no one walks through illness, grief, or celebration alone. New hands and hearts are always welcome—come craft, pray, and wrap our community in love!

**
Our items are free to obtain for everyone! Just ask!

You can ask for prayers for anyone, they don't have to attend our church.

We"ve created over 115 blankets and have given 86 away.
It is a bigger deal than most parishioners realize!**
